Even if the blogging isn't complete, you want to make sure you're clear that your basic choices are linked to existing examples (= conventions). Remember Eval Q1 from last year; this year you need to respond on all 3 texts.
ReplyDeleteThink carefully about the top links: the terminology can be informal/slang - especially when targeting a youth audience.
I see from the screenshot you've sent you've kept to 5+home top links, your post suggests more. Don't go above 6. Older band/audience, but an example of simple + short heading names: http://www.pixiesmusic.com/ Notice they don't include 'the band' or 'gallery'. They also use a logo banner for a home link. Look at what they use instead of listen/vids etc (and just 1 word). They also have a podcast sub link on the shows page.
Wix has a track preview tool, which works if your band is registered with the app they use, but note the range of distributors linked: http://smarturl.it/headcarrier
You need to be clear on how/where you'd utilise (TERMS: synergy, cross-promotion) social content: look for Wix live feed widgets, at worst think about how you can use (hyperlinked) screenshots.
'signup for newsletter page' look at what Evie did, much better than a top link!!
